Since the beginning of 2008, Ian has been responsible for managing US Gold’s exploration and development programs throughout Mexico. Previous to his position with the Company, Ian worked for McEwen Capital Corporation, US Gold’s largest shareholder, where he was responsible raising capital, structuring transactions and managing exploration programs in Alaska, Colorado and Quebec. Ian has played a leading role in various mergers and acquisitions throughout the natural resource sector which have a combined market value of $10 billion. He originally began his career with Goldcorp Inc (NYSE:GG TSX:G) in 2004. Ian holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree (Honours), graduating first in class and a Diploma in Business Administration (Honours). He is a member of the Golden Key International Honour Society and was recently awarded the Alumnus of Distinction Award by his alma mater, becoming the youngest recipient of this award. |
